Registration

Follow these steps if:

• you are registering a student whose Primary school was NOT NSA in the 2023-24 school year or 
• you are registering a Non Primary student for 2024-25.
  
  Please note: that Non Primary students can take up to 10 credits a year, must be in Grs 10-12, and be registered at a primary school before the end of September, 2024

1. Create a new account in School Engage by clicking here: School Engage 
2. After you have created your School Engage account, sign in to start the registration process.  Select the correct form for the program you are registering for:

• 2024-2025 ONLINE PROGRAM Student Registration
  
  • For Northstar’s Online and PBR programs (fully teacher -directed)
  • For all Non-Primary student registrations.

• Home Education Registration (includes PARENT DIRECTED instruction) 2024-2025 Grades K-12
  
  • For NorthStar’s Home Education program (parent-directed)
  • For NorthStar’s Shared Responsibility program (part parent and part teacher-directed)

Please note:  Home Education and Shared Responsibility registrations require a completed Home Ed plan for your child’s upcoming school year, for the parent-directed courses, prior to acceptance. 1. Sign in to your Powerschool parent portal account by clicking here.
• PowerSchool Parent Portal
2. Enter SchoolEngage - found in your PowerSchool menu on the left
3. Click on Students, then on your students name
4. Choose the verification form that is correct for this student
5. Complete and submit
